setting the tentative millage for the FY 10-11 budgetary year. It establishes the operating millage of of the roll-back millage rate 6.2728. Proposed Action: Recommend Council approval

6 1, 2010, THROUGH SEPTEMBER 30, 2011; ESTABLISHING THE 7 ROLLBACK RATE; SETTING A DATE AND TIME FOR A FINAL 8 PUBLIC HEARING TO ADOPT THE FINAL MILLAGE RATE; 9 PROVIDING FOR DIRECTIONS
TO THE CITY CLERK; AND 10 PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. 11 12 13 WHEREAS, on July 28, 2010, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 14 2010-154-1099 determining a proposed Millage
Rate for the fiscal year 15 commencing October 1, 2010 (“Fiscal Year 2010/2011”), and scheduling the public 16 hearings required by Section 200.065 of the Florida Statutes to be held
on 17 September 8, 2010 at 5:30 p.m., and September 22, 2010, at 6:00 p.m. and 18 WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended an annual budget for 19 Fiscal Year 2010-2011 commencing October
1, 2010, and 20 WHEREAS, the public and all interested parties will have the opportunity 21 to address their comments to the City Council and the City Council will consider 22 the comments
of the public regarding the proposed millage rate, 23 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY 24 OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS: 25 Section 1. ADOPTION
