A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, AMENDING THE DECLARATION
OF RESTRICTIONS FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 15290 NW
34TH AVENUE TO FACILITATE THE OUTDOOR STORAGE OF
HIGHWAY SIGNAGE AND MATERIALS BY G2 HIGHWAY
SIGNS AND STRUCTURES, LLC; PROVIDING FOR THE
ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on March 22, 2017, the City of Miami Gardens City Council granted
Special Exception approval to International Equipment Sales LLC via Resolution No.
2017-54-3159 for the sale of refrigerated trucks and trailers located at 15290 NW 34th
Avenue, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit “B”, and
WHEREAS, a Declaration of Restrictive Covenant was put into effect requiring the
property owner to develop the facility subject to certain conditions, however, in September
of 2021 the property was sold without the project ever coming to fruition, and
WHEREAS, the current owner anticipates the property being used by G2 Highway
Signs and Structures, LLC, for the production and assembly of highway signs which will
entail outdoor storage of signs on the property, as such, an amendment to Section 6 of
the Restrictive Covenant pertaining to Outdoor Storage is required, and
WHEREAS, the City’s Planning and Zoning staff has previously reviewed the
Application and Staff Report pursuant to Resolution No. 2017-54-3159, attached hereto
as Exhibit “B”, and further reviewed the proposed modification to the Declaration of
Restrictions, attached hereto as Exhibit “C,” and
WHEREAS, City Staff recommends that the City Council amend the Declaration
of Restrictions for property located at 15290 NW 34th Avenue to facilitate the outdoor
storage of highway signage and materials by G2 Highway Signs and Structures, LLC,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby amends the Declaration of Restrictions for property located at 15290 NW 34th
Avenue to facilitate the outdoor storage of highway signage and materials by G2 Highway
Signs and Structures, LLC.

Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.

GARDENS AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD ON JULY 26, 2023.
