A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM
COUNCILWOMAN LINDA JULIEN'S COMMUNITY BENEFIT
ACCOUNT IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED EIGHT HUNDRED
DOLLARS ($800.00), FOR ROLLING OAKS HOMEOWNERS’
ASSOCIATION SIGNAGE; PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION
OF REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the Rolling Oaks Homeowners Association (HOA) acknowledges the
need for updated signage within the community to enhance aesthetics and improve
communication, and
WHEREAS, the total cost of the four sandwich boards including the graphics for
each sign, is estimated to be eight hundred dollars ($800.00), and
WHEREAS, Councilwoman Linda Julien recognizes the importance of ensuring
updated signage is essential to the community’s identity and necessary to convey
pertinent information effectively, and
WHEREAS, Councilwoman Julien is requesting an allocation of eight hundred
dollars ($800.00), from the Seat 5 Community Benefit account (116-19-01-519-492-05)
to cover the costs associated with the design and purchase of the Rolling Oaks
Homeowners Association Signage, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby support allocation of funds from Councilwoman Julien’s Seat 5 Community
Benefit Account (116-19-01-519-492-05) in the amount of eight hundred dollars
($800.00) for Rolling Oaks Homeowner’s Association signage.
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
GARDENS AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD ON MAY 22, 2024.
