1515 NW 167 Street, Building 5 Suite 200 Miami Gardens, Florida 33169 Miami Gardens has a growing senior population and many of these seniors are unable to drive to and from retail locations.
Current Situation Vice Mayor Oliver Gilbert III is recommending that the City Manager investigate engaging a shuttle service for seniors for transportion to and from certain residential
complexes to retail locations within the City. It is anticipated that the funding for this purpose will come from the Transportation Surtax funds which the City anticipates receiving
from Miami-Dade County. Proposed Action: That the City Council approve the attached resolution. Attachment:
