HomeMy WebLinkAbout2025-034-2336_-_Oak_Village_Final_Plat_-_Adopted.docxRESOLUTION NO. 2025-034-2336 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE OAK VILLAGE FINAL PLAT FOR THE PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED BETWEEN NW 191ST STREET TO THE NORTH AND NW 189TH STREET TO THE SOUTH, MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A"; PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the applicant, Oak Village Developers LLC and Gospel Tabernacle Faith Deliverance Church, obtained a Tentative Plat approval (T-25011) on December 20, 2024, from Miami-Dade County to plat 214,492 square feet (4.924 acres) of land located between NW 191st Street to the north and NW 189th Street to the south, and WHEREAS, Track A will be developed with 62 townhouse style apartment units spread across 8 buildings, and WHEREAS, Track B contains an existing church and two additional units will be added specifically for church housing, and WHEREAS, the development includes parking, green areas and communal gathering spaces to enhance the residential experience, and WHEREAS, in compliance with Article VII-Plats, Subdivisions, Excavations, Address Assignment, Section 34-209, Plats of the City of Miami Gardens Land Development Regulations (LDR), Final Plat approval must be granted by the City via a Resolution, prior to recording by Miami-Dade County, and WHEREAS, Issuance of a final Certificate of Occupancy by the Building Department at the completion of construction will be subject to approval of a Final Plat by the City and the County, and WHEREAS, John Ibarra, a professional land surveyor with John Ibarra and Associates, Inc., has reviewed the subject Final Plat for compliance with Section 177.081(1), Florida Statues, and Chapter 28, Subdivisions of the Miami-Dade County Code, on behalf of the City of Miami Gardens, and WHEREAS, the Final Plat has also been reviewed by Planning and Zoning staff for compliance with the City’s Land Development Regulations, and WHEREAS, once approval by the City Council is granted, the Final Plat shall be reviewed and approved by Miami-Dade County Plat Committee and subsequently recorded in the Official Records of Miami-Dade County, and Docusign Envelope ID: 35A5C8DE-C579-486D-8E27-86EA41DADC19 Page 2 of 3 Resolution No. 2025-034-2336 WHEREAS, the Final Plat approval and subsequent recordation of the Final Plat by Miami-Dade County will authorize the City to issue a final Certificate of Occupancy for the proposed development of the property, in accordance with an approved site plan, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution. Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens hereby approving the Oak Village Final Plat for the property generally located between NW 191st Street to the North and NW 189th Street to the South, Miami Gardens, Florida, attached hereto as Exhibit "A". Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its final passage.
