A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE
REALLOCATION OF FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF FIVE
THOUSAND DOLLARS ($5,000.00) FROM THE SEAT 5 PUBLIC
AFFAIRS ACCOUNT, TO BE USED FOR COMMUNITY
ENGAGEMENT SUPPORT ITEMS AND RESOURCES;
PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, councilwoman Linda Julien remains committed to enhancing
community engagement and outreach through neighborhood-based programming and
public initiatives; and
WHEREAS, the Seat 5 Public Affairs general line-item account (001-12-02-512-
492-05) currently totals sixteen thousand dollars ($16,000); and
WHEREAS, Councilwoman Julien seeks to reallocate five thousand dollars
($5,000.00) from Seat 5 Public Affairs account to support Seat 5 activities and
participation in local initiatives, which provide vital outreach opportunities for the office of
seat 5 to connect with the constituents of Miami Gardens; and
WHEREAS, these funds will be used for support items such as miscellaneous
logistical needs essential for successful public engagement and participation within the
community at-large; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens hereby authorizes the
reallocation of five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) from Councilwoman Linda Julien’s Seat
5 Public Affairs general line item account number 001-12-02-512-492-05 to be used for
public and community engagement support items and resources.
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI GARDENS
AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD ON NOVEMBER 12, 2025.
