A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO TAKE ANY AND ALL STEPS NECESSARY TO
TERMINATE KING’S WRECKER SERVICE, INC. FOR A
CITYWIDE TOWING AND STORAGE SERVICES; PROVIDING
FOR THE ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the agreement between the City of Miami Gardens and King’s
Wrecker Service, Inc. for a Citywide Towing and Storage Services was awarded on March
22, 2023, and
WHEREAS, the City Manager is requesting that the agreement be terminated
pursuant to Article 12 – Termination clause due to poor performance and
unresponsiveness, and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Gardens staff will follow up to reconcile any
documented and outstanding concerns as part of the closeout process,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby authorizes the City Manager to take any and all steps necessary to terminate
King’s Wrecker Service, Inc. for a Citywide Towing and Storage Services.
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.

AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD ON NOVEMBER 12, 2025.
