A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO RELY UPON CITY OF MESA CONTRACT
#2024056, INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS,
PRODUCTS, AND SERVICES, TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER
FOR AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWO HUNDRED TWENTY-
EIGHT THOUSAND DOLLARS ($228,000.00) TO PACKETALK,
LLC FOR THE PURCHASE OF TWO (2) SURVEILLANCE
TRAILERS, EQUIPMENT, ACCESSORIES AND MAINTENANCE
SERVICES FOR THE MIAMI GARDENS POLICE DEPARTMENT;
PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Gardens Police Department requires two (2)
surveillance trailers and the necessary equipment, accessories, and maintenance
services for the trailers, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to City of Miami Gardens, Code of Ordinances Section 2-
757, the City may enter into competitively solicited contracts, and
WHEREAS, staff seeks to rely upon City of Mesa Contract #2024056, Information
Technology Solutions, Products, and Services, to purchase two (2) surveillance trailers,
equipment, accessories, and maintenance services for the Miami Gardens Police
Department, and
WHEREAS, the sum amount of the purchase order is, Two Hundred Twenty-Eight
Thousand Dollars ($228,000.00) and
WHEREAS, staff recommends the City Council to authorize the City Manager to
rely upon City of Mesa Contract #2024056, Information Technology Solutions, Products,
and Services to issue a purchase order in an amount not to exceed Two Hundred Twenty-
Eight Thousand Dollars ($228,000.00) to PackeTalk, LLC for the purchase of two (2)
surveillance trailers, equipment, accessories, and maintenance services for the Miami
Gardens Police Department,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby authorizes the City Manager to rely upon City of Mesa Contract #2024056,

Information Technology Solutions, Products, and Services, to issue a purchase order in
an amount not to exceed Two Hundred Twenty-Eight Thousand Dollars ($228,000.00) to
PackeTalk, LLC for the purchase of two (2) surveillance trailers, equipment, accessories,
and maintenance services for the police department.
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.

AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD ON DECEMBER 10, 2025.
