The design phase was awarded to Sanchez ‐Zeinali & Associates on February 2008 and in 2010 the construction was awarded to TransHire, Inc. As a result the City contracted for an inspector to oversee the contractor due to the Public Works Department being overloaded with the Stimulus Road Projects. A purchase order in the amount of $50,000 was issued to TransHire for construction inspection services during the design phase. Current Situation The NW 7 th Avenue Road Improvement Project has a construction inspection purchase order to Atruim Personnel, Inc. dba TransHire that will need to be increased by an amount not to exceed $20.000. It is expected that this amount will be sufficient for project completion. The attached resolution seeks City Council approval to increase the current purchase order with Atrium Personnel, Inc. dba TransHire by the amount of $20,000 with the total P.O. not to exceed $70,000 for the construction inspection services for NW 7 th Avenue roadway improvements.
