A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER AND THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AND
ATTEST, RESPECTIVELY, THAT MEMORANDUM OF
UNDERSTANDING BETWEEN BLUENEST AT MIAMI
GARDENS, LLC AND THE CITY OF MIAMI GARDENS FOR
COMMUNITY BENEFITS, A COPY OF WHICH IS ATTACHED
HERETO AS EXHIBIT “A”; PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION
OF REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, Bluenest at Miami Gardens, LLC, (“Property Owner”) is the owner of
the +/- 22.43 net acres of land located in the City of Miami Gardens and identified at
Miami-Dade County Property Appraiser Folio No: 34-1132-001-0090, -0140, -0130,
0111 and -0120 (“Property”), and
WHEREAS, on December 10, 2025, via Ordinance No. 2025-009-489, the City
approved the rezone of the Property from Agricultural and Utilities (“AU”) and Single-
Family Dwelling (“R-1”) to Planned Development ("PD”), and
WHEREAS, the Property Owner is undertaking the development of an exclusive
townhome community on the Property, designed to offer residents a luxurious living
experience within the City of Miami Gardens, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby authorizes the City Manager and the City Clerk to execute and attest,
respectively, that Memorandum of Understanding between Bluenest at Miami Gardens,
LLC and the City of Miami Gardens for Community Benefits, a copy of which is attached
hereto as Exhibit “A”.
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
GARDENS AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD ON JUNE 24, 2026.
