A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THAT CERTAIN
THIRD AMENDMENT TO THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT
BETWEEN MIAMI-DADE COUNTY AND THE CITY OF MIAMI
GARDENS FOR GOB PROJECT NO.320, A COPY OF WHICH IS
ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT “A”; AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE ANY AND ALL FUTURE
AMENDMENTS NECESSARY FOR THE GOB PROJECT
NO.320; PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF
REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on October 22, 2025, the City Council of Miami Gardens approved
Resolution No. 2025-131-2432, and
WHEREAS, this resolution approved the first Addendum that allowed the City of
Miami Gardens to undertake performance and completion of certain infrastructure
improvements on the Miami Gardens Town Center and Performing Arts Center campus
utilizing Project 320 funds that are recaptured by the Miami-Dade County Commission
Board, and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. R- 159-24 as amended by Resolution No. R-712-24,
which approved an Interlocal Agreement between the City of Miami Gardens (“City”) and
Miami-Dade County relating to a grant from the Building Better Communities General
Obligation Bond Program Project No. 320 – “Economic Development Fund”, to revise
section 4 of the Interlocal Agreement, and
WHEREAS, this Amendment extends the deadline to utilize these funds, and
WHEREAS, this item also authorizes the City Manager to execute any and all
future amendments necessary for the GOB Project NO.320,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby authorizes that certain Third Amendment to the Interlocal Agreement between
Miami-Dade County and the City of Miami Gardens for GOB Project No.320, a copy of
which is attached hereto as Exhibit “A”. The City further authorizes the City Manager to
execute any and all future amendments necessary for the GOB Project No.320.

Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.
