A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING THE FISCAL YEAR
2019-2020 ANNUAL AUDIT REPORT FROM THE CITY’S
AUDITOR, ANTHONY BRUSON, P.A.; PROVIDING FOR THE
ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 218.39, Florida Statutes, municipalities
are required to have an annual audit performed by an independent Certified Public
Accounting firm, and
WHEREAS, the external auditors, Anthony Brunson, P.A. has performed the
required audit and reviewed the Comprehensive Annual Financial Report, and
WHEREAS, the City Council would like to accept the Fiscal Year 2019-2020
Annual Audit Report,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2. ACCEPTANCE OF AUDITOR’S REPORT: The City Council of the City
of Miami Gardens hereby accepts the Fiscal Year 2019-2020 Annual Audit Report
prepared by the Finance Department and audited by Anthony Brunson, P.A.
Section 3. EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
GARDENS AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD ON MAY 12, 2021.
