A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE JESSIE TRICE
'JTCHS SUBDIVISION' FINAL PLAT FOR THE PROPERTY
GENERALLY LOCATED AT 20612 NW 27TH AVE, MIAMI
GARDENS, FLORIDA 33056, ATTACHED HERETO AS EXHIBIT
"A"; PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF
REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the applicant, Jessie Trice Collaborative, Inc., has obtained a
Tentative Plat approval from Miami-Dade County to replat approximately 5.873 acres of
vacant land generally located at 20612 NW 27th Avenue, consisting of Folio No. 34-1133-
003-0135 and 34-1133-003-0130, and
WHEREAS, Article VII - Plats, Subdivisions, Excavations, Address Assignment of
the City of Miami Gardens Land Development Regulations (LDR) requires Final Plat
approval be granted by the City prior to recordation by Miami-Dade County, and
WHEREAS, the 'JTCHS Subdivision' Final Plat as shown in 'Exhibit A' has been
determined by the City to be in compliance with the City’s LDR and with Section
177.081(1) – Platting Dedication and Approval of Florida Statues as shown in 'Exhibit B',
and
WHEREAS, once approved by the City Council via Resolution, the Final Plat will
be reviewed and approved by the Miami-Dade County Plat Committee and recorded in
the Official Records of Miami-Dade County, and
WHEREAS, staff recommends City Council approve the Jessie Trice 'JTCHS
Subdivision' Final Plat, attached hereto as EXHIBIT "A",
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing “WHEREAS”
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: APPROVAL: The City Council approves the Jessie Trice 'JTCHS
Subdivision' Final Plat, attached hereto as EXHIBIT "A",
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
GARDENS AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD ON MAY 26, 2021.
