A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER TO AIP US, LLC,
TO PROVIDE NETWORK SECURITY SOLUTIONS AND
SERVICES IN THE AMOUNT OF FIFTY-SEVEN THOUSAND
SEVENTY-FIVE DOLLARS AND TWENTY CENTS ($57,075.20)
BY RELYING ON STATE OF FLORIDA CONTRACT NO.
43220000-NASPO-19-ACS; PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION
OF REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the State of Utah Division of Purchasing & General Services in
conjunction with NASPO ValuePoint advertised competitive Request for Proposal
SK180001 - NASPO ValuePoint Communications Products & Services on July 13, 2018.,
and
WHEREAS, the State of Florida, Department of Management Services is a
Participating Entity under the NASPO agreement and AIP US, LLC is an approved vendor
under the agreement., and
WHEREAS, AIP US, LLC, has designed, installed and provided professional
support services solutions for the City of Miami Gardens Police Department and City Hall
overall Network Solutions and Cisco telephone voice Internet Protocol (IP) System, and
WHEREAS, AIP US, LLC, currently manages and maintains the City of Miami
Gardens (hereinafter “City”) various data designed systems deployed and operating on
the City’s network, voice and wireless infrastructure with 24 hours per day and 7 days per
week support, inclusive of IT professional services, and
WHEREAS, the City’s Office of Information Technology requires AIP US, LLC,
provide ongoing project management, network operations, security operations, voice
operations, network security and voice architecture and engineering as needed, and
WHEREAS, Staff recommends that the City Council authorize the City Manager to
issue a purchase order to AIP US, LLC, to provide Network Security Solutions and
Services in the amount of Fifty-Seven Thousand Seventy-Five Dollars and Twenty Cents
($57,075.20) by relying on State of Florida Contract No. 43220000-NASPO-19-ACS,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.

Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby authorizes the City Manager to issue a purchase order to AIP US, LLC, to provide
Network Security Solutions and Services in the amount of Fifty-Seven Thousand Seventy-
Five Dollars and Twenty Cents ($57,075.20) by relying on State of Florida Contract No.
43220000-NASPO-19-ACS.
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.

GARDENS AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD ON JULY 28, 2021.
