A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, AWARDING INVITATION TO BID
NO. 20-21-024, GREEN CONSTRUCTION TECHNOLOGIES,
INC., FOR THE VISTA VERDE MEDIANS IRRIGATION PHASE
1C AND 1D; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
NEGOTIATE AND EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT FOR THIS
PURPOSE IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED THE BUDGETED
AMOUNT; PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF
REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on July 14, 2021, staff issued Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. 20-21-024,
Vista Verde Medians Irrigation Phase 1C and 1D via Bidsync, and
WHEREAS, the RFP invited qualified firms to submit proposals to provide
irrigation services to the City of Miami Gardens, and
WHEREAS, in response to the RFP, proposals were received from four (4)
proposers; Arazoza Brothers Corp, Green Construction Technologies, Inc., Greentech
Group Solutions, LLC, and Sun Eagle General Contractors, Corp., and
WHEREAS, on August 26, 2021, a bid opening was held and four (4) proposals
were received with Green Construction Technologies, Inc. as the lowest responsive and
responsible bidder, and
WHEREAS, staff recommends the City Council authorize the City Manager to
negotiate and execute a contract with Green Construction Technologies, Inc. for an
amount not to exceed the budgeted amount to provide irrigation services to the City of
Miami Gardens for Vista Verde Medians Irrigation Phase 1C and 1D.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing “WHEREAS”
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council authorizes the City Manager to
negotiate and execute a contract with Green Construction Technologies, Inc. for an
amount not to exceed the budgeted amount to provide irrigation services to the City of
Miami Gardens for Vista Verde Medians Irrigation Phase 1C and 1D.
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.
