A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER AND
THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AND ATTEST RESPECTIVELY,
THAT CERTAIN AGREEMENT ATTACHED HERETO AS
EXHIBIT “A”, IN THE AMOUNT NOT EXCEEDING TWO
HUNDRED AND TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND DOLLARS
($225,000) WITH THE MOSAIC GROUP FOR A PROMOTIONAL
CAMPAIGN FOR THE CITY OF MIAMI GARDENS; PROVIDING
THE ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Gardens seeks to execute a robust community
branding promotional campaign to market the City’s positive attributes, programs and
forward-thinking initiatives for its residents and businesses, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to City of Miami Gardens Procurement Code Section 2-757,
(1) the City Council may authorize the waiver of competitive bidding procedures upon the
recommendation of the City Manager that it is in the city's best interest to do so to obtain
goods and services which cannot be acquired through the normal purchasing process
due to insufficient time, the nature of the goods or services, or other factors, and
WHEREAS, staff requests the City Council authorize the City Manager to execute
a consultant agreement with The Mosaic Group, hereto attached as Exhibit “A,” for an
amount not to exceed Two Hundred and Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($225,000) for a
community branding promotional campaign,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing “WHEREAS”
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council authorizes the City Manager and
the City Clerk to execute and attest respectively, a consultant agreement with The Mosaic
Group, attached hereto as Exhibit “A,” for an amount not to exceed Two Hundred and
Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($225,000) for a community branding promotional
campaign.
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
GARDENS AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD ON OCTOBER 27, 2021.
