A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA,
COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY (“CRA”), ADOPTING A
REVISED BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF MIAMI GARDENS CRA
AND MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 2020-
2021.
WHEREAS, the CRA wishes to adopt the revised Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Miami
Gardens Redevelopment Agency Budget, and
WHEREAS, the Interlocal Agreement with Miami-Dade County, Section III C, the
City and County will limit tax increment funds to seventy-five percent (75%) and adjust
the municipal tax increment revenue to $483,451.00, and
WHEREAS, the Interlocal Agreement with Miami-Dade County, Section V, the
MGCRA will contribute twenty-five (25%) to the Transportation Fund in support of the
North Corridor Project of the Strategic Miami Area Rapid Transit Plan (SMART Plan), and
WHEREAS, Staff recommends that the CRA Board adopt the revised Fiscal Year
2020- 2021 Miami Gardens Community Redevelopment Agency Budget,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF MIAMI
GARDENS, FLORIDA COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY:
Section 1: That the foregoing “WHEREAS” clauses are ratified and confirmed as
being true and correct and are incorporated in this Resolution.
Section 2: APPROVAL OF AMENDED BUDGET: The Community
Redevelopment Agency of City of Miami Gardens hereby approves and adopts the
revised Fiscal Year 2020-2021 Budget for the Miami Gardens District of the CRA as set
forth in EXHIBIT “A.”
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: That this Resolution shall be in full force and
effect immediately upon its passage and adoption.
