A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH THE
SUPERLATIVE GROUP TO PROVIDE PROFESSIONAL
SERVICES FOR SPONSORSHIP ASSET INVENTORY,
VALUATION, NAMING RIGHT AND SALES NOT TO EXCEED
SIXTY THOUSAND DOLLARS ($60,000) ANNUALLY;
PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATION;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to City of Miami Gardens Procurement Code Section 2-757,
the City may enter into competitively solicited contracts, and
WHEREAS, on April 18, 2020, the City of Doral advertised Request for Proposals
#2020-10, “Sponsorship Asset Inventory, Valuation, Naming Rights and Sales” for
professional services for sponsorship asset inventory, valuation, naming rights and sales
that include but are not limited to the parks and recreation facilities, programs, and
projects associated with the parks bond, and
WHEREAS, after evaluation and scoring, the contract was awarded to The
Superlative Group beginning August 12, 2020 for an initial term of one (1) year with three
(3) one (1) year renewal terms for a total of four (4) years, the City of Doral Resolution is
herein attached as Exhibit “A,” and
WHEREAS, staff is requesting authorization from the City Council to piggyback off
the City of Doral Contract with The Superlative Group for professional services for
sponsorship asset inventory, valuation, naming rights and sales, for an amount not to
exceed Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000) annually for one (1) year with the option for (2)
two (1) one year renewals.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: City Council hereby authorizes the piggyback off
the City of Doral contract with The Superlative Group for professional services for
sponsorship asset inventory, valuation, naming rights and sales, for an amount not to
exceed Sixty Thousand Dollars ($60,000) annually for one (1) year with the option for (2)
two (1) one year renewals.

Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.
