AR2488 AND SUBCONTRACT NO. 43230000-NASPO-16-ACS, TO ISSUE PURCHASE ORDERS NOT EXCEEDING ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY-FOUR THOUSAND TWO HUNDRED TWENTY AND THIRTY CENTS ($184,220.30) ANNUALLY FOR TWO YEARS TO SHI INTERNATIONAL CORP. TO PROVIDE MICROSOFT SOFTWARE LICENSING AND SERVICES FOR THE THEFOR PROVIDING CITY MIAMI OF GARDENS; ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS;PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, in 2008, the City of Miami Gardens entered into in an agreement with SHI International Corp. to provide the licenses for all Microsoft Products used by the City, and WHEREAS, the City is required to pay SHI International Corp. annual fees to obtain software licenses, software and support services, and WHEREAS, pursuant to City of Miami Gardens, Code of Ordinances Section 2- 757, the City may enter into competitively solicited contracts, and WHEREAS, the State of Utah, Division of Purchasing, pursuant to solicitation and a procurement process entered into Contract #AR2488 with SHI International Corp., and WHEREAS, the awarded contract currently expires on September 30, 2024, and WHEREAS, Participating Agreement #43230000-NASPO-16-ACS, was executed authorizing the State of Florida, Department of Management Services to utilize Contract #AR2488 for products and services, and WHEREAS, purchase SHItoorders issuestaffapprovalrequestingis to International Corp. for annual fees to obtain software licenses, software and support services for an amount not to exceed One Hundred Eighty-Four Thousand Two Hundred Twenty and Thirty Cents. ($184,220.30) per year for two years, subject to appropriation of funds, by relying on Participating Agreement #43230000-NASPO-16-ACS, and WHEREAS, Information2022thein approvedhas thefor funding been Technology budget, and Whereas, City Staff recommends the City Council authorize the City Manager to issue purchase orders to SHI International Corp. for annual fees to obtain software licenses, software and support services for an amount not to exceed One Hundred Eighty- Resolution 2022-061-3774 DocuSign Envelope ID: FFE49E1D-5EFC-4206-8CD9-D709565CE15A Four Thousand Two Hundred Twenty and Thirty Cents. ($184,220.30) per year for two years, by relying on Participating Agreement #43230000-NASPO-16-ACS, subject to appropriation of funding, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS: Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby made a specific part of this Resolution. Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens hereby authorizes the City Manager to issue purchase orders to SHI International Corp. for annual fees to obtain software licenses, software and support services for an amount not to exceed One Hundred Eighty-Four Thousand Two Hundred Twenty and Thirty Cents. ($184,220.30) per year for two years, by relying on Participating Agreement #43230000-NASPO-16-ACS, subject to appropriation of funding, Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its final passage.
