A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS,FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE AND ATTEST,
RESPECTIVELY, THAT CERTAIN GRANT OF EASEMENT FOR
WATER FACILITIES WITH THE CITY OF NORTH MIAMI BEACH
FOR THE INSTALLATION OF WATER PRODUCTION WELLS AT
NORWOOD WHICHOF COPY ISPOOL,ANDPARK A
FORPROVIDING EXHIBIT “A”; HERETO ATTACHED AS
INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CITY CLERK; PROVIDING FOR THE
ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS;PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of North Miami (CNMB) is currently planning improvements
to the Norwood Treatment Plant facilities, and
WHEREAS, as part of the improvements for the Norwood Water Treatment Plant,
CNMB plans to drill two (2) new production wells at the Norwood Park and Pool site, and
WHEREAS, the production water wells need a temporary construction easement
during installation and afterwards will be contained within a permanent easement with
fencing allowing the CNMB to own, operate and maintain, a copy of which is attached
hereto as Exhibit “A”, and
WHEREAS, City Staff recommends the City Council authorize the City Manger to
grant a temporary construction easement and permanent utility easement and permanent
utility easement to the CNMB,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby authorizes the City Manager and City Clerk to execute and attest, respectively,
that certain Grant of Easement for Water Facilities with the City of North Miami Beach for
the installation of Water Production Wells at Norwood Park and Pool, a copy of which is
attached hereto as Exhibit “A”.
Section 3: INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CITY CLERK: The City Clerk is hereby
authorized to obtain two (2) fully executed copies of the subject Agreement with one to
be maintained by the City, and one to be delivered to the City of North Miami Beach.

Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.

GARDENS AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD ON JULY 13, 2022.
