A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, AWARDING INVITATION TO BID
(ITB) NO. 21-22-018, REPAIR NORWOOD POOL HOUSE
GENERALEAGLESUNMAIN LINE,SEWER TO
CONTRACTORS CORPORATION; AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ISSUE PURCHASE ORDER(S) AS NEEDED NOT
TO EXCEED THE BUDGETED AMOUNT; PROVIDING FOR THE
ADOPTION OF ANREPRESENTATIONS;PROVIDING FOR
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on May 10, 2022, staff issued Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. 21-22-018
Repair Norwood Pool House Sewer Main Line was solicited via Bidsync, inviting
qualified firms to submit proposals to provide Repairs to Norwood Pool House, and
WHEREAS, two (2) proposals were received from Sun Eagle General
Contractors Corporation and Supreme Roofing and Contractors Inc. and each proposal
was publicly read, and
WHEREAS, City staff tabulated both pricing sheets and conducted
responsiveness and responsibility reviews of the firms and deemed Sun Eagle General
Contractors Corporation as the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, attached hereto
as Exhibit “A”, and
WHEREAS, funding for this project expense is $136,800.00 from account # 001-
72-07-572-460-00, and
WHEREAS, City Staff recommends that the City Council award ITB Number 21-
22-018, Repair Norwood Pool House Sewer Main Line, to Sun Eagle General
Contractors Corporation and authorize the City Manager to issue Purchase Order(s) as
needed not to exceed the budgeted amount,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby awards Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. 21-22-018, Repair Norwood Pool House
Sewer Main Line, to Sun Eagle General Contractors Corporation and authorizes the
City Manager to issue Purchase Order(s) as needed not to exceed the budgeted
amount.

Section 3: INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CITY CLERK: The City Clerk is hereby
authorized to obtain two (2) fully executed copies of the subject Agreement with one to
be maintained by the City, and one to be delivered to said contractors.
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.
