A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, AWARDING INVITATION TO BID
(ITB) NO. 21-22-024 TO ADVANCED PLUMBING
TECHNOLOGY, LLC FOR THE MARCO CANAL CULVERT
REHABILITATION PROJECT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER TO ISSUE PURCHASE ORDERS IN THE AMOUNT
NOT TO EXCEED THE BUDGETED AMOUNT; PROVIDING FOR
THE ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on May 16, 2022, Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. 21-22-024, Marco Canal
Culvert Rehabilitation was solicited via Bidsync,inviting qualified firms to submit
proposals for the Marco Canal Culvert Rehabilitation Project which includes lining of
existing culvert pipes and related improvements at five (5) locations in the city, and
WHEREAS, in response to the ITB, proposals were received from two (2)
proposers: Advanced Pace Technologies LLC DBA Advanced Plumbing Technology,
LLC and David Mancini & Sons, Inc., and
WHEREAS, staff has tabulated both pricing sheets and conducted responsiveness
and responsibility reviews of the firms and deemed Advanced Plumbing Technology, LLC
as the lowest responsive, responsible bidder, and
WHEREAS, staff recommends that the City Council award ITB Number 21-22-024,
LLCTechnology, PlumbingAdvancedCanal RehabilitationCulvertMarco to and
authorize the City Manager to issue Purchase Order(s) as needed not to exceed the
budgeted amount,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby authorizes the City Manager to issue a purchase order not to exceed the budgeted
amount CulvertCanal Marco thefor Advanced Technology, Plumbingto LLC
Rehabilitation Project for the City of Miami Gardens.
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.
