A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS,FLORIDA, REAPPOINTING BEATRICE
CAZEAU TO SERVE AS LEGAL ADVISOR TO THE NUISANCE
ABATEMENT BOARD FOR A TWO (2) YEAR TERM;
PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council has created the City of Miami Gardens Nuisance
Abatement Board, (“the Board”), and
WHEREAS, in accordance with the Nuisance Abatement Board Ordinance, the
City Attorney is to recommend an attorney to advise the Nuisance Abatement Board, and
WHEREAS, Nuisance Abatement Board Counsel shall serve no more than four (4)
consecutive terms, and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney recommends the City Council reappoint Beatrice
Cazeau to serve as legal advisor to the Nuisance Abatement Board for another two (2)
year term, and
WHEREAS, Beatrice Cazeau has served two (2) terms as legal advisor to the
Nuisance Abatement Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: APPOINTMENT: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby[LW1] reappoints Beatrice Cazeau to serve as the legal advisor to the Nuisance
Abatement Board for a term of two (2) years.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
GARDENS AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD ON SEPTEMBER 14, 2022.
