A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE
OF THAT REAL PROPERTY LOCATED AT 15764 NW 27TH
AVENUE, MIAMI GARDENS FOR AN AMOUNT NOT EXCEED
ONE MILLION TWO HUNDRED AND SIXTY FIVE THOUSAND
DOLLARS ($1,265,000.00) IN ACCORDANCE WITH THAT
AGREEMENT OF PURCHASE ATTACHED HERETO IN
FORPROVIDING“A”;EXHIBIT ASFORMSUBSTANTIAL
INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CITY MANAGER, CITY ATTORNEY
AND CITY CLERK;PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF
REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Gardens has identified a parcel of vacant land
located at 15764 NW 27th Avenue, Miami Gardens, FL 33056, Folio #34-2116-013-0060
as a site of development interest to help enhance and increase the value of this currently
vacant property and its surrounding area, and
WHEREAS, the City desires to purchase the property from Solid Investments and
Developers, LLC, and
WHEREAS, on April 27, 2022 the City Council authorized the City Manager to
negotiate an agreement to purchase the land via Resolution No. 2022-053-3766, and
WHEREAS, the sale of the property the purchase of this property would give the
City control over approximately 59,000 square feet of property in an area ripe for
development, and
WHEREAS, the purchase price for the Property shall be One Million Two Hundred
and Sixty Five Thousand Dollars ($1,265,000.00),
WHEREAS, City Staff recommends the City Council approve this Resolution,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing “WHEREAS”
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council hereby authorizes the purchase
of that property located at 15764 NW 27th Avenue, Miami Gardens for an amount not to
exceed One Million Two Hundred and Sixty Five Thousand Dollars ($1,265,000.00) in
accordance with the purchase and sale agreement attached hereto as Exhibit “A”. The
City Council further authorizes the City Manager, City Attorney and City Clerk to take all

steps necessary to effectuate the purchase of the property; including drafting any
amendments to the Agreement for Purchase not affecting price and all closing documents
as may be necessary.
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.

GARDENS AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD ON OCTOBER 26, 2022.
