A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, AWARDING INVITATION TO BID
(ITB) NO. 21-22-026 TO FLEET TIRE TRUCK AND AUTO
CENTER, FORD MIDWAY MALL INC., METRO FORD INC. AND
MIAMI LAKES AUTOMALL FOR OEM PARTS AND SERVICE
REPAIRS FO EQUIPMENT;ANDR CITY VEHICLES
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ISSUE PURCHASE
ORDERS IN THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED THE BUDGETED
AMOUNT; OFPROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION
REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on May 17, 2022, Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. 21-22-026, OEM Parts
and Service Repairs for City Vehicles and Equipment was solicited via Bidsync, inviting
qualified firms to submit proposals to provide OEM Parts and Service Repairs for the City,
and
WHEREAS, in response to the ITB, proposals were received from four (4) bidders:
Fleet Tire Truck and Auto Center, Ford Midway Mall Inc., Metro Ford Inc. and Miami Lakes
Automall, and
WHEREAS, staff has tabulated both pricing sheets and conducted responsiveness
and responsibility reviews of the firms and deemed all four bidders to be responsive and
responsible, and
WHEREAS, staff recommends that the City Council award ITB Number 21-22-026,
OEM Parts and Service Repairs for City Vehicles and Equipment to all four vendors; Fleet
Tire Truck and Auto Center, Ford Midway Mall Inc., Metro Ford Inc. and Miami Lakes
Automall and authorizes the City Manager to issue Purchase Order(s) as needed not to
exceed the budgeted amount,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby authorizes the City Manager to issue a purchase order not to exceed the budgeted
amount to Fleet Tire Truck and Auto Center, Ford Midway Mall Inc., Metro Ford Inc. and
Miami Lakes Automall for OEM Parts and Service Repairs for City Vehicles and
Equipment.

Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.

GARDENS AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD ON SEPTEMBER 28, 2022.
