A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, AWARDING INVITATION TO BID
(ITB) NO. 21-22-037 FOR MONUMENT SIGNS, TO MULTIPLE
MEDIA NETWORK INC.,D/B/A BEST SIGN MONUMENTS;
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ISSUE PURCHASE
ORDERS IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED THE BUDGETED
AMOUNT; PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF
REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on September 27, 2022, Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. 21-22-037, City of
Miami Gardens Monument Signs was solicited via Bidsync, inviting qualified firms to
submit proposals to provide and/or install “The City Park and Entrance Signs”, and
WHEREAS, in response to the ITB, proposals were received from three (3)
bidders: Multiple Media Network, Inc. d/b/a Best Sign Monuments,Doral Digital
Reprographics and Neon Sign Solutions, and
WHEREAS, on October 17, 2022, a bid opening was held and staff evaluated the
proposals for compliance; and staff tabulated both pricing sheets and conducted
responsiveness and responsibility reviews of the firms and deemed Multiple Media
Network, Inc. d/b/a Best Sign Monuments as the lowest responsive, responsible bidder,
and
WHEREAS, the bid provided for an initial term of contract for two (2) years and the
City has the right to exercise the option to renew annually (subject to the appropriation of
funds) a maximum of three (3) one (1) year periods, and
WHEREAS, staff recommends that the City Council award ITB Number 21-22-037,
City of Miami Gardens Monument Signs to Multiple Media Network, Inc. d/b/a Best Sign
Monuments and hereby authorizes the City Manager to issue Purchase Order(s) as
needed not to exceed the budgeted amount,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby authorizes the City Manager to issue purchase orders not to exceed the budgeted
amount to Multiple Media Network, Inc. d/b/a Best Sign Monuments to provide and/or
install the “The City Park and Entrance Signs”.

Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.

GARDENS AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD ON DECEMBER 14, 2022.
