A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA,
ALLOCATING TWO HUNDRED FIFTY-FIVE DOLLARS AND
NINETY-EIGHT CENTS ($255.98) FROM VICE MAYOR
KATRINA WILSON’S PUBLIC AFFAIRS ACCOUNT TO
SUPPORT SHOW SOME LOVE FOUNDATION TOY DRIVE,
NUNC PRO TUNC TO DECEMBER 21, 2022, PROVIDING FOR
THE ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Show Some Love Foundation, Incorporated is a 501(c)(3) non-profit
organization that celebrates the educational successes and progression of students and
serves the less fortunate.
WHEREAS, Vice Mayor Katrina Wilson is requesting the City Council authorize
funds to support the Show Some Love Foundation Toy Drive, and
WHEREAS, On Wednesday, December 21, 2022 Vice Mayor Katrina Wilson made
a donation to support Show Some Love Foundation which contributed towards gift cards,
school supplies, toys and bikes for students at Golden Glades Elementary School, and
WHEREAS, Vice Mayor Wilson is requesting the City Council authorize the
allocation of two hundered and fifty five dollars and ninety-eight cents ($255.98) from the
Seat 4 Public Affairs Account Nunc Pro Tunc in support of the Show Some Love
Foundation Toy Drive,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby authorizes the allocation of two hundered and fifty five dollars and ninety-eight
cents ($255.98) from the Seat 4 Public Affairs Account Nunc Pro Tunc is support of the
Show Some Love Foundation Toy Drive.
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
GARDENS AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD ON JANUARY 25, 2023.
