A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, AWARDING INVITATION TO BID
(ITB) NO. 22-23-008 PURCHASE & DELIVERY OF SPORT
EQUIPMENT TO BSN SPORTS, LLC., HOLLA ATHLETICS LLC.,
PYRAMID SCHOOL PRODUCTS & DESIGN AND
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ISSUE PURCHASE
ORDERS NOT TO EXCEED THE ANNUAL BUDGETED
AMOUNT FOR THIS PURPOSE; PROVIDING FOR THE
ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on February 8, 2023 Invitation to Bid Number 22-23-008 Purchase &
Delivery of Sports Equipment was solicited via BidSync, and
WHEREAS, the ITB was publicly opened on March 9, 2023, four (4) bids were
received from BSN Sports, LLC., Holla Athletics LLC., Pyramid School Products & Design
and School Health Corporation, and
WHEREAS, City staff reviewed the Bids for responsiveness and responsibility,
tabulated pricing sheet and conducted due diligence review of the bidders, and
WHEREAS, City staff recommends the award be made to BSN Sports, LLC., Holla
Athletics LLC. and Pyramid School Products & Design as primary and secondary vendors
pursuant to the tabulation sheet attached herein as Exhibit 1, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby awards Invitation to Bid (ITB) number 22-23-008, Purchase & Delivery of Sports
Equipment, to BSN Sports, LLC., Holla Athletics LLC. and Pyramid School Products &
Design and authorizes the City Manager to issue purchase orders not to exceed the
budgeted amount for this purpose.
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
GARDENS AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD ON JUNE 14, 2023.
