A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING SPONSORSHIP
FOR THE ENTREPRENEURSHIP EXPERIENCE SUMMIT IN
THE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS
($2,000) FROM COUNCILWOMAN SHANNON CAMPBELL’S
PUBLIC AFFAIRS SPECIAL EVENTS ACCOUNT; PROVIDING
FOR THE ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Councilwoman Shannon Campbell will be hosting an
Entrepreneurship Experience Summit 2023 at Betty T. Ferguson Recreational Complex
on September 16, 2023, and
WHEREAS, this summit will be an interactive experience educating the youth on
starting and indemnifying a business as well as providing mentorship and networking
opportunities from individuals with successful businesses, and
WHEREAS, Councilwoman Shannon Campbell is requesting funding from the
Seat 1 Special Events Account in the amount of two thousand dollars ($2,000) to support
the Entrepreneurship Experience Summit 2023, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby authorizes sponsorship for the event in the amount of Two Thousand Dollars
($2,000.00) from Councilwoman Shannon Campbell’s Public Affairs Account. .
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.

GARDENS AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD ON JULY 26, 2023.
