for refuse collection and leasing of containers with World Waste Services. The contract was awarded on on November 28, 2007 for a term of two years with an option to renew for an additional
four one‐year terms. Current Situation Waste Management Inc. of Florida is acquiring World Waste Services on or around August 31, 2009. World Waste Services’ intention is to assign the
City’s contract in its entirety to Waste Management Inc. of Florida. The City’s contract contains an assignment clause whereby the City must consent to an assignment. ITEM J-4) CONSENT
