A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO TAKE ANY AND ALL STEPS NECESSARY TO TERMINATE THAT CERTAIN AGREEMENT WITH THE
FIRM OF KEITH AND SCHNARS, P.A., FOR THE BUNCHE PARK, BUNCHE POOL, AND ROLLING OAKS PARK PROJECTS; PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE Staff Summary:
On November 9, 2005, the City Council in accordance with Resolution No: 2005‐149‐326, authorized the City Manager to issue a Purchase Order to Keith and Schnars, P.A. for Architectural
Services relating to the Parks and Recreation Master Plan. It was proposed that Keith and Schnars would complete four (4) tasks at Bunche Park and Pool and Rolling Oaks Park: (1) surveying
and geotechnical work, (2) planning the parks layouts through community involvement, (3) completing a conceptual design for each park, and (4) providing full construction documents for
bidding. While there has been progress Keith and Schnars has not been able to obtain approval of final construction documents. Current Situation: Staff is recommending that the City
terminate the contract with Keith and Schnars, P.A. Keith and Schnars has already transmitted all of the project documents and digital files for the projects as requested by staff. The

to complete the construction documents. Proposed Action: It is recommended that the City Council approve the attached resolution authorizing the City Manager to terminate the agreement
with the firm of Keith and Schnars, P.A. for the Bunche Park, Bunche Pool and Rolling Oaks Park Projects. Attachment: None.
