A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE REVISED
FISCAL YEAR 2023 ADOPTED MIAMI GARDENS COMMUNITY
REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY BUDGET, AS SET FORTH IN
EXHIBIT “A”; PROVIDING FOR ADOPTION OF
REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Miami Gardens Community Redevelopment Agency Board approved
the Proposed Fiscal Year 23 Budget on September 28, 2022, and
WHEREAS, Miami Dade County requested a revision the Fiscal Year 2023
Adopted Budget to include the Fiscal Year 2022 Adopted Budget and Fiscal Year 2022
Actuals, and
WHEREAS, Reflecting the Fiscal Year 2022 Adopted and Actual amounts, the
revised total revenues for Fiscal Year 2023 is $4,125,122.
WHEREAS, this revised total revenue amount includes a fund balance carryover
from Fiscal Year 2022 of $2,181,698, and
WHEREAS, Fiscal Year 2023 expenditures include administrative and Northern
Corridor SMART Plan payments to Miami-Dade County, as the Interlocal Agreement
outlines.
WHEREAS, The remaining funds ($3,944,530) will be placed in reserves to
support the future Miami Gardens Performing Arts Center, and
WHEREAS, Miami Gardens City Council is also required to approve the revised
MGCRA Fiscal Year 2023 Adopted Budget.
WHEREAS, For Fiscal Year 2023, the Miami Gardens Community Redevelopment
Agency will have a Revised Adopted Budget of $4,125,122, and
WHEREAS, Staff recommends that the City Council approves the Revised Fiscal
Year 2023 Adopted Miami Gardens Community Redevelopment Agency Budget, as set
forth in Exhibit “A”,
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.

Section 2. DESIGNATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens hereby
approves the Revised Fiscal Year 2023 Adopted Miami Gardens Community
Redevelopment Agency Budget, as set forth in Exhibit “A”.
Section 3. EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.
