A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, ALLOCATING ONE THOUSAND
DOLLARS ($1,000) FROM COUNCILMAN REGGIE LEON’S
FORMULA ONE COMMUNITY FUND ACCOUNT NUNC PRO
TUNC IN SUPPORT OF THE ANNUAL COMMUNITY FOOD
DISTRIBUTION AND TURKEY DRIVE HELD ON NOVEMBER 9,
2023; PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF
REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Annually, Councilman Reggie Leon spearheads efforts to create a
significant difference in the community, backing various educational and community
initiatives that promote the positive progress and advancement of individuals from all
walks of life and age groups, and
WHEREAS, Councilman Reggie Leon is requesting a sponsorship not to exceed
one thousand dollars ($1,000) from his Formula One Community Fund Account nunc pro
tunc for the purpose of supporting his Annual Community Food Distribution and Turkey
Drive held on November 9, 2023,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby allocates funds from Seat 2 Formula One Community Fund Account in the amount
of one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) nunc pro tunc to support Seat 2 Annual Community
Food Distribution and Turkey Drive held on November 9, 2023.
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI GARDENS
AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD ON DECEMBER 13, 2023.
