A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, ALLOCATING FUNDS IN THE
AMOUNT OF ONE THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED ELEVEN
DOLLARS AND TWENTY-FIVE CENTS ($1,111.25) FROM
COUNCILWOMAN LINDA JULIEN’S PUBLIC AFFFAIRS
SPECIAL EVENTS ACCOUNT, NUNC PRO TUNC, IN SUPPORT
OF HER ANNUAL THANKSGIVING HOME DELIVERY TURKEY
DISTRIBUTION; PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF
REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, for the third year in a row, Councilwoman Linda Julien has completed
her annual turkey home delivery distribution, demonstrating a commendable commitment
to serving the community, and
WHEREAS, ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday, the initiative involved personally
delivering turkeys to over one hundred residents with the City of Miami Gardens,
contributing to the well-being and holiday spirit of our constituents, and
WHEREAS, Councilwoman Julien personally spear-headed the distribution efforts,
underscoring her dedication to actively engage with the community, and
WHEREAS, his fostered or sense of unity and support between councilwoman and
our city residents, and
WHEREAS, therefore, Councilwoman Julien is requesting the amount of
$1,111.25 to be allocated from her Public Affairs Special Events account in support of this
community effort,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby supports allocation of funds from Councilwoman Julien’s Public Affairs Special
Events Account in the amount of one thousand one hundred eleven dollars and twenty-
five cents ($1,111.25), nunc pro tunc, in support of her annual turkey home delivery
distribution.
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.
