A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, AWARDING INVITATION TO BID
(ITB) 23-24-008, WAYFINDING SIGN PRODUCTION AND
INSTALLATION, TO SIGNARAMA OF HOLLYWOOD IN AN
AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED ONE HUNDRED EIGHTY-THREE
THOUSAND ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($183,100.00);
PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on December 5, 2023, Invitation to Bid (ITB) 23-24-008, Wayfinding
Sign Production and Installation, was solicited via Bidsync inviting qualified firms to submit
proposals to provide Wayfinding Sign Production and Installation services for the City,
and
WHEREAS, on January 10, 2024, the bid solicitation closed and eight (8) bids were
received, and
WHEREAS, City staff conducted responsiveness and responsibility reviews of the
firms and tabulated the pricing sheets, a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit 1,
and
WHEREAS, the firm Signarama of Hollywood was determined to be the lowest
responsive, responsible bidder, and
WHEREAS, sufficient funding for the expense of One Hundred Eighty-Three
Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($183,100.00) is available in account number 001-19-
01-519-520-0, and
WHEREAS, City Staff recommends the City Council award ITB 23-24-008,
Wayfinding Sign Production and Installation, to Signarama of Hollywood in an amount not
to exceed One Hundred Eighty-Three Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($183,100.00),
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby awards Invitation to Bid (ITB) 23-24-008, Wayfinding Sign Production and
Installation, to Signarama of Hollywood in an amount not to exceed One Hundred Eighty-
Three Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($183,100.00).

Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.
