Staff Summary: On June 27, 2007, the City Council adopted Resolution No. 2007 ‐98 ‐605, which authorized the purchase of the Police Department’s in ‐car mobile digital recoding system from L3 Communications Mobile ‐Vision, Inc. In 2007, the City utilized the Arizona Department of Public Safety Bid #SW070013 ‐A2, to L3 ITEM K-7) CONSENT AGENDA RESOLUTION P.O. to L3 Communications Mobile-Vision Inc. 1515 NW 167 Street, Building 5 Suite 200 Miami Gardens, Florida 33169 Communications Mobile ‐Vision, Inc., for the Police Department's purchase. Included in the City’s contract is the cost of annual system maintenance and repair. For FY 2012, the annual cost for system maintenance and repair is $66,815.98, which is consistent with the Arizona Department of Public Safety Bid. Proposed Action: That the City Council approve the attached resolution authorizing the City Manager to issue a purchase order to L3 Communications for the maintenance of the Mobile Vision In ‐car Digital Video Recording systems in an amount of $66,815.98.
