Staff Summary: On March 27, 2012, a contract between Miami-Dade County and the City of Miami Gardens was executed to provide services toward the implementa tion of the Countywide Prisoner Processing Project. It has become necessary to extend the term of the pr oject in order to authorize the expenditure of funds from the Edward Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant. Proposed Action: That the City Council approve the attached resolution authorizing the City Manager to execute the amended contract with Miami-Dade County for the Countywide Prisoner Processing Project.
