Staff  Summary: On February 21, 2013, the Cit y filed an eviction action against The Worshippers House of Prayer and its pastor, Emmanuel Zizi in his indi vidual capacity. On August 1, 2012, the City obtained a judgment against the Defendants in t he amount of $19,215.74 for back rent and $5,362.50 for attorney’s fees and costs. To dat e, the City has not received any amounts due ITEM K-13) CONSENT AGENDA RESOLUTION Final Judgment Settlement   1515  NW  167  Street, Building  5  Suite  200    Miami  Gardens, Florida  33169   pursuant to the Final Judgmen t. The Defendants have expressed a desire to satisfy the judgment for a lesser amount. It is being reco mmended that the City Council authorizes a settlement of the Final Judgment to ensure that the City recove rs without incurring additional costs to collect on the judgment. The settlement would require t he Defendant to pay the sum of Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00) within 60 days.  Proposed  Action:  That the City Council adopts the attached Resolution.
