A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
GARDENS, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING CITY ADMINISTRATION TO
ISSUE A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR PARK MAINTENANCE;
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Gardens believes it is in the best
interest to solicit request for proposals for Park Maintenance service for the City's 17 parks; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it necessary to provide the City Administration with
the authority to solicit Request For Proposals for Park Maintenance service.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: Authority of Administration. The City's Transition Coordinator, Mr. William J.
Green is authorized to solicit Request For Proposals for Park Maintenance service for the City's
17 Parks.
Section 2: Effective Date. This Resolution shall become effective immediately upon
adoption.

RECOMMENDATION:

REASONS:
This resolution authorizes the City Administration to issue a Request for Proposals for the City
of Miami Gardens Park Maintenance.
