3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
4 GARDENS, FLORIDA, EXPRESSING CONCERNS ABOUT THE
5 LAND USE IMPACTS THAT THE PROPOSED BUS RAPID TRANSIT
6 ("BRT") ROUTES MAY HAVE ON THE CITY OF MIAMI GARDENS;
7 PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.

9 WHEREAS, the Transit "Bridge" Study Team has proposed a new bus route
10 along State Road 441 to link Miami-Dade and Broward County;
11
12 WHEREAS, the proposed bus route may have a negative impact on the traffic on
13 State Road 441; and

15 WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to alleviate any negative impact that the
16 proposed bus route may have on the City.

18 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
19 CITY OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, THAT:

21 Section 1. Expression of Concem. The City Council hereby wishes to express
22 concerns about the traffic impact that the proposed bus routes may have on State Road
23 441.

25 Section 2. Effective Date. This Resolution is effective upon adoption.

27 PASSED and adopted this 22 October' 2003.
