A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING A RENTAL FEE
WAIVER FOR THE USE OF ROLLING OAKS PARK, FOR THE
GET TO KNOW YOUR NEIGHBORS PICNIC ON SATURDAY,
JUNE 8, 2019; PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF
REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Crestview and Rolling Oaks Homeowners Association is requesting
to host a Get to Know Your Neighbors Picnic event at Rolling Oaks Park located at
18701 NW 17th Ct, Miami Gardens, FL 33056, and
WHEREAS, the event is tentatively scheduled for Saturday, June 8, 2019,
starting 12:00 p.m. and concluding at 4:00 p.m., and
WHEREAS, valuable information will be shared about the Homeowners
Association and the neighborhood Crime Watch Program, and
WHEREAS, Vice Mayor Rodney Harris is requesting the waiver of fees
associated with the use of Rolling Oaks Park for the Get to Know Your Neighbors Picnic
event, on Saturday, June 8, 2019, from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 : ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby authorizes a rental fee waiver for the use of Rolling Oaks Park, for the Get to
Know Your Neighbors Picnic on Saturday, June 8, 2019.
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its final passage.

GARDENS AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD ON MAY 22, 2019.
