A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, SUPPORTING COUNCILMAN
DAVID WILLIAMS, JR., MIRACLE IN THE GARDEN;
AUTHORIZING THE COSTS ASSOCIATED WITH THE USE OF
THE SHOWMOBILE AND WAIVING STAFF COST FOR
SATURDAY, JULY 13, 2019; PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION
OF REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, Councilman David Williams Jr., will host Mical in the Garden event
on Saturday, July 13, 2019, at the City of Miami Gardens Community Botanical Garden
located at 18330 NW 12th Avenue from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., and
WHEREAS, Miracle in the Gardens is an opportunity to learn about gardening,
healthy food, and the benefits of partnerships in our community, and
WHEREAS, Councilman David Williams, Jr., is requesting the City of Miami
Gardens showmobile for the duration of this event and a fee waiver for the Showmobile
rental and operational costs associated,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby supports Councilman David Williams, Jr., Miracle in the Gardens event,
authorizes the costs associated with the use of the showmobile and waives staff cost for
Saturday, July 13, 2019.
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its final passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
GARDENS AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD ON JUNE -96, 2019.
