A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, ALLOCATING THE SUM OF
THREE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($3,500.00)
FROM COUNCILWOMAN WILSON'S SPECIAL EVENTS
ACCOUNT TO SUPPORT VARIOUS ANNUAL EVENTS,
MONTHLY MEETINGS, AND SPECIAL PROGRAMS; PROVIDING
FOR THE ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Councilwoman Katrina Wilson has various planned events, monthly
meetings, and special programs connected with servicing the residents of the City of
Miami Gardens, and
WHEREAS, constituent materials, supplies, and equipment are necessary for the
execution of said events, meetings, and programs, and
WHEREAS, funding for these items will be supported by the Special Events
Account for Seat 4, and
WHEREAS, Councilwoman Wilson is requesting Three Thousand Five Hundred
Dollars ($3,500) from the Special Events Account for Seat 4 to purchase constituent
materials, supplies, and equipment necessary for the execution of annual events,
monthly meetings, and special programs connected with servicing the residents of the
City of Miami Gardens , and
WHEREAS, Councilwoman Wilson recommends that the City Council approves
this resolution,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby authorizes the allocation of Three Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($3,500.00)
from Councilwoman Wilson's Special Events Account, to support the execution of
annual events, monthly meetings, and special programs.
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its final passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
GARDENS AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD ON JULY 24, 2019.
