A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING A TWO THOUSAND
SIX HUNDRED AND EIGHTY-SEVEN DOLLARS ($2,687.00)
GRANT AWARD FROM THE ROLLING CREST LAKE INC., (RCL)1-
AUTHORIZING
RCL);AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE ANY AND
ALL DOCUMENTS RELATED TO THE ACCEPTANCE OF THIS
AWARD: PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF
REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Miami Gardens Police Athletic League (PAL) which operates as
a City Program, applied for and has been approved to receive grant funds in the amount
of Two Thousand Six Hundred and Eighty-Seven Dollars ($2,687.00) from the Rolling
Crest Lake Inc., (RCL) for a PAL and Police Explorer van wrap, and
WHEREAS, the funds are to be expended to wrap a van that will be solely used
for PAL and Police Explorer Program activities and outings, and
WHEREAS, Staff recommends that the City Council approve the City Manager to
accept the Two Thousand Six Hundred and Eighty-Seven Dollars ($2,687.00) grant,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby accepts the Two Thousand Six Hundred and Eighty-Seven Dollars ($2,687.00)
from the Rolling Crest Lake Inc. The City Council further authorizes the City Manager to
execute any and all documents related to the acceptance of this award.
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its final passage.
