A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, APPOINTING VINCENT BROWN
AS A GENERAL SPECIAL MASTER FOR A TWO (2) YEAR
TERM; PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF
REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Gardens has established a Code Enforcement
Special Master Program in the City, and
WHEREAS, appeals of all code enforcement citations and stormwater utility fees
are also heard by Special Masters, and
WHEREAS, the City requires the use of Special Masters for certain appeals and
bid protests, and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney recommends that the City Council appoints Vincent
Brown to serve as a General Special Master for a two (2) year term,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS.-
Section
OLLOWS:Section 1 : ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby appoints Vincent Brown, to serve as a General Special Master for a two (2) year
term effective from the date of this Resolution.
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its final passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
GARDENS AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD ON SEPTEMBER 25, 2019.
