A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING A ONE YEAR
RENEWAL OF THAT CERTAIN AGREEMENT FOR VENDING
SERVICES WITH MH MANAGEMENT, INC.; PROVIDING FOR
THE ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on October 8, 2014, under Resolution Number 2014-175-2154, City
Council approved the award of Invitation To Bid (ITB) Number 13-14-039, Vending
Machine Services — Revenue Sharing to MH Management, Inc., and authorized the City
Manager to execute an agreement with the vendor MH Management, Inc., and
WHEREAS, the initial term of the agreement was for a period of three (3) years
with an option to renew annually, and
WHEREAS, the current contract allows for annual renewals and this is the third
contract renewal, and
WHEREAS, staff is recommending that the City Council approve the third
renewal of Invitation To Bid (ITB) Number 13-14-039, for Vending Machine Services —
Revenue Sharing, to MH Management, Inc., for vending machine services,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 : ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby authorizes the one-year renewal of that certain Agreement for Vending Services
with MH Management, Inc.
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its final passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
GARDENS AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD ON NOVEMBER 13, 2019.
