A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, ALLOCATING ADDITIONAL
FUNDS IN THE AMOUNT OF TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND
DOLLARS ($25,000.00), FOR THE STATE OF THE CITY
ADDRESS ON WEDNESDAY, MAY 13, 2020; PROVIDING FOR
THE ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Mayor Oliver Gilbert is requesting additional funds in the amount of
Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00), for the State of the City Address on
Wednesday, May 13, 2020, and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the additional funds is to add a City birthday
celebration component to the event,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby allocates additional funds in the amount of Twenty-Five Thousand Dollars
($25,000.00), for the State of the City Address on Wednesday, May 13, 2020.
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.

GARDENS AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD O ARY 8, 2020.
