A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, ALLOCATING FUNDS FROM
COUNCILWOMAN KATRINA WILSON'S SPECIAL EVENTS
ACCOUNT IN THE AMOUNT OF THREE THOUSAND FIVE
HUNDRED DOLLARS ($3,500.00), FOR SUPPLIES AND
MATERIALS FOR ANNUAL EVENTS, MONTHLY MEETINGS,
AND SPECIAL PROGRAMS; PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION
OF REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, Councilwoman Katrina Wilson is requesting to utilize $3,500.00 from
her Special Events Account, and
WHEREAS, the purpose of this request is for the purchasing of constituent
materials, supplies, and equipment necessary for the execution of annual events,
monthly meetings, and special programs connected with servicing the residents of the
City of Miami Gardens, specifically, those constituents represented in Seat 4,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 : ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby allocates funds from Councilwoman Wilson's Special Events Account in the
amount of Three Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($3,500.00), for supplies and
materials for annual events, monthly meetings, and special programs.
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.
PASSED AND ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI
GARDENS AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD ON A UARY 2 2020.
