A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE RACETRAC
PETROLEUM FINAL PLAT FOR RACEWAY MIAMI GARDENS,
THE PROPERTY GENERALLY LOCATED AT 17021 NW 27TH
AVENUE, MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA 33056, ATTACHED
HERETO AS EXHIBIT "A", PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION
OF REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE
DATE.
WHEREAS, the applicant, Racetrac Petroleum, has obtained Tentative Plat
approval from Miami-Dade County to replat approximately 3.2 acres of land located at
17021 NW 27th Avenue, consisting of Folio No. 34-2110-008-0313, 34-2110-008-0311
and 34-2110-008-0310, and
WHEREAS, there is currently a vehicle fueling station located on the lots,
WHEREAS, Article VII - Plats, Subdivisions, Excavations, Address Assignment of
the City of Miami Gardens Land Development Code requires Final Plat approval be
granted by the City prior to recordation by Miami-Dade County, and
WHEREAS, the Final Plat for "Raceway Miami Gardens" has been reviewed by
the Planning and Zoning Department staff and by the Surveyor John Ibarra of John
Ibarra and Associates, Inc and has been determined to be in compliance with the City's
Land Development Regulations (LDR) and Section 177.081(1) — Platting Dedication and
Approval of Florida Statues, and
WHEREAS, after approval by the City Council is granted, the Final Plat will be
reviewed and approved by the Miami-Dade County Plat Committee and subsequently
recorded in the Official Records of Miami-Dade County, and
WHEREAS, Staff recommends that the City Council approve the Raceway Miami
Gardens Final Plat Resolution,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 : ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby approves the Racetrac Petroleum Final Plat for Raceway Miami Gardens the
property generally located at 17021 NW 27th Avenue, Miami Gardens, Florida 33056,
attached hereto as Exhibit "A".
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.

GARDENS AT ITS REGULAR MEETING HELD ON JULY , 2, 2020.
