A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE FOURTH (4TH)
RENEWAL OF THE CONTRACT AWARDED PURSUANT TO
INVITATION TO BID (ITB) NUMBER 13-14-039, VENDING
MACHINE SERVICES — REVENUE SHARING, TO MH
MANAGEMENT, INC.; PROVIDING FOR THE ADOPTION OF
REPRESENTATIONS; PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Gardens ("City") Parks and Recreation Department
solicited vending machine services to provide cold drinks and healthy snacks to the
City's patrons at Betty T. Ferguson Park, Carol City Park, and Scott Park as well as
employees at City Hall, the Police Department and Public Works, and
WHEREAS, on July 24, 2014, ITB Number 13-14-039, Vending Machine
Services — Revenue Sharing was posted on DemandStar and two (2) bids were
received and publicly read, and
WHEREAS, on October 8, 2014, under Resolution Number 2014-175-2154, the
City Council approved the award of ITB Number 13-14-039, Vending Machine Services
— Revenue Sharing, to MH Management, Inc. and authorized the City Manager to
execute an agreement with an initial term of of three (3) years and an option to renew
annually, and
WHEREAS, per the agreement, MH Management, Inc. is required to pay the City
twenty-five percent (25%) of the monthly gross revenue collected from the vending
machines, and
WHEREAS, City Staff recommends that the City Council approves the fourth
(4th) renewal of the contract awarded pursuant to ITB Number 13-14-039, Vending
Machine Services — Revenue Sharing, to MH Management, Inc.,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI GARDENS, FLORIDA AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: ADOPTION OF REPRESENTATIONS: The foregoing Whereas
paragraphs are hereby ratified and confirmed as being true, and the same are hereby
made a specific part of this Resolution.
Section 2: AUTHORIZATION: The City Council of the City of Miami Gardens
hereby approves approves the fourth (4th) renewal of the contract awarded pursuant to
ITB Number 13-14-039, Vending Machine Services — Revenue Sharing, to MH
Management, Inc.
Section 3: EFFECTIVE DATE: This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon
its final passage.

GARDENS AT ITS VIRTUAL SPECIAL MEETING HELD ON OCTOBER 28, 2020.
